Drei Geschwister

BA BÀI kể câu chuyện về ba anh chị em người Do Thái gốc Hà Lan thuộc thế hệ chiến tranh: Chú tôi Menachem, dì Emmie và bố tôi, Rudi. Họ chia sẻ kinh nghiệm tương tự. Cùng với một gia đình nuôi dưỡng, họ chuyển đến Israel sau chiến tranh. Nhưng mỗi người trong số họ là một người cô đơn, quá. Về kinh nghiệm trại tập trung của họ, mỗi người trong số họ có cách riêng để đối phó với nó. Menachem giữ im lặng trong 60 năm. Đối với Emmie, cuộc tàn sát không kết thúc vào cuối cuộc chiến. Và Rudi rời Israel càng sớm càng tốt, đi khắp thế giới và dành những năm cuối đời ở Đức.

THREE SIBLINGS tells the story of three Dutch-Jewish siblings of the war generation: My uncle Menachem, my aunt Emmie and my father Rudi. They share similar experiences. Together with a foster family they moved to Israel after the war. But each one of them is a loner, too. Regarding their concentration camp experiences each of them has his very own way to cope with it. Menachem remains silent for 60 years. For Emmie, the holocaust does not end by the end of the war. And Rudi leaves Israel as soon as possible, travels the world and spends his last years in Germany.
