In 1979 acclaimed English maze designer Randoll Coate designed, at the request of the writer Susana Bombal, one of Borges great friend, a symbolic maze to tribute this great Argentine writer. 25 years later, Susana.s nephew Camilo Aldao (h), upon discovering of the existence of this design, began a plan to build it in Los Alamos, a farm of 1830, property of Susana Bombal, with the landscape architect Carlos Thays and Borges widow María Kodama.
