The Missing

Một giám đốc Kitô giáo nổi tiếng, người đau khổ vì cái chết của vợ và con trai, bắt đầu đặt câu hỏi về niềm tin tôn giáo của mình. Đạo diễn đang quay một bộ phim bằng cách phỏng vấn một số trí thức Trung Quốc từ mọi tầng lớp về "người mất tích". Trong phần cuối cùng, bộ phim đòi hỏi một diễn viên ái nam (-ess), và họ đã tìm thấy một người không tin, MeiLin. Trên phim trường, MeiLin bắt đầu từ chối Kinh thánh. Đến cuối buổi quay, đạo diễn đã tìm thấy sự cứu chuộc của mình. Trong suốt quá trình quay phim, MeiLin bước vào một hành trình tìm hiểu Chúa.

A famous Christian director, who suffered from great distress over the death of his wife and his son, started to question his religious belief. The director is shooting a film by interviewing several Chinese intellectuals from all walks of life on "the missing". In the final section, the film requires an androgynous actor(-ess), and they found a nonbeliever, MeiLin. On the set, MeiLin started declaiming the Bible. By the end of the filming, the director found his redemption. Over the course of filming, MeiLin stepped on a journey to know God.
