BETWEEN NEIGHBORHOODS is an experimental documentary about the international and interborough histories of Queens (NYC); the audiovisual diptych dynamically travels between present and past -- between the age of Donald Trump and Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez and that of Robert Moses and W.W. Rostow, between original and archival footage -- to evoke the dynamic between imperialism and immigration that, across the last half century, orbits Unisphere, the mammoth stainless-steel armillary that stands in Flushing Meadows-Corona Park.
