SENTENCED dựa trên câu chuyện có thật. Đơn vị thứ 9 là nhà tù nơi chế độ độc tài quân sự đẫm máu của Tướng Videla tập trung hàng ngàn tù nhân chính trị, kéo các thủ lĩnh của họ vào hai phường tử thần, để giết họ mà không cần xét xử. Thật kinh khủng khi nhận ra rằng không chỉ các tù nhân sẽ bị quân đội sát hại, mà cả người thân của họ. Cùng với bộ phim này có nhiều hơn những vụ bắt cóc và tử vong, cuộc chiến giành lấy sự sống và nhân phẩm được đổi mới từng ngày. Ý chí, sự dí dỏm và hài hước là vũ khí của cuộc kháng chiến, vượt quá giới hạn hiểu biết của con người.

SENTENCED is based on the true story. The 9th Unit was the jail where the bloody military dictatorship of General Videla concentrated thousands of political prisoners, pulling apart their leaders into two Wards of Death, to kill them without trial. It was awful realise that not only the prisoners would be murdered by the army, but also their relatives. Along this film there are many more than kidnappings and deaths, the fight for the life and dignity is renewed day by day. The will, the wit and humor were weapons of the resistance, beyond the limits of the human understanding.
