Mel Sobel is a shameless philanderer and con artist, who is partners in a successful retail operation known to Southern California TV viewers as The Mattress Guys. Unbeknownst to the Mattress Guy, he is a double for the FBI.s most wanted fugitive, the Imam Abdul Muhammed Zaleeka. Mel.s compulsive lying and chicanery plunge him into a web of further deceit and complications when the search for the Imam expands to Homeland Security, and the CIA. Not to mention a few dozen women he has seduced and abandoned on his mattresses.
