"Hẻm quốc gia" tập trung vào những nỗ lực thống khổ của một cậu con trai để giúp mẹ mình, Touran, khỏi bệnh sau khi bị bệnh trong tình trạng thực vật. Khi anh ta nắm giữ một bức ảnh cũ miêu tả mẹ mình với một người đàn ông khác, Mansour, anh ta hợp tác với cháu gái của Mansour và cố gắng theo dõi anh ta. .National Alley. focuses on a son.s agonised efforts to help his mother, Touran, recover from an illness that left her in a vegetative state. When he gets hold of an old photograph that portrays his mother with another man, Mansour, he teams up with Mansour.s niece and tries to track him down. The couple travels around the city and visits the old cinemas where Mansour used to work, for the audience to take a quick glance at the history of Iranian Cinema.
