From the acclaimed Brazilian filmmaker Katia Lund (City of God and News of a Private War) and part of the 5-film series Reimagine Rio, Movie Magic Motion explores the power of movies through the lives and work of six young filmmakers in the innovative self-governing film school Cinema Nosso in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. These six filmmakers come from the most challenging and marginalized neighborhoods of Brazil, but dreamed since childhood of becoming filmmakers. Movie Magic Motion showcases a film by these six talented filmmakers inside a film by Katia Lund and first time director Lili Fialho.
