Vinnie Cirillo is being interviewed for the 50th anniversary of the Brooklyn Dodgers 1955 World Series win. He tells the story of how his uncles, veterans of World War II, raised him after his father died in the Battle of the Bulge, and taught him the significance of loyalty, honor and integrity. He remembers... Brooklyn, summer of 1957, Kofax is king and baseball is the glue that has held families together during the hard times. After a Dodgers game two brothers their cousin and best friend wait at the family bar to send off their nephew Vinnie who is leaving the next day to be stationed in Berlin at the height of the cold war. When he arrives he is accompanied by a reporter from Los Angeles who claims the Dodgers are moving. "Hitler, Stalin and Walter O.Malley" explores how four WWII vets and the fatherless nephew they raised come to grips with what they consider the ultimate act of betrayal to their community -- the loss of their beloved Brooklyn Dodgers to Los Angeles.
